Learn How To Skydive

AFF – Accelerated Free-Fall, is a course of study for obtaining a USPA A license. Unlike tandem skydiving, where you are attached to the instructor, you will have your own parachute, altimeter, goggles, and jumpsuit when you exit the aircraft. In the early stages of the progression you will be accompanied by two instructors who will assist you in meeting your goals while working to keep you safe. Despite having the instructors present, it is still your responsibility to be aware of your surroundings and to pilot your parachute safely to the ground.

Tandem or AFF (Accelerated Free-Fall)?

Currently we offer Tandem and A.F.F. instructional methods; both are fully endorsed by the USPA and both have their benefits. The tandem instructional method merges with A.F.F. and the differences between the programs is really in how you get started on those first few jumps. If you would feel more comfortable having the instructor do the flying your first time, or if you are looking for that one time thrill-ride, check out the First Skydive page for more details and to book your first tandem. However, if you would like to make your first skydive not attached to anyone or you have done a tandem and are ready to start the course then keep reading.

The AFF Program At a Glance.

Below is a breakdown of each phase of the AFF program with basic information, and pricing. All categories and classes include all the necessary: ground prep and courses; quizzes and briefs; and study material. NOTE: The USPA requires a minimum of 25 jumps to acquire an A license and the AFF course is just an outline. Each category has a required number of jumps to advance but these numbers reflect first-time passes of every jump. If you fail a jump, or have to repeat one, it may mean that you will have more than 25 jumps when you get your license. If you need to repeat any jump the cost is the same as for the jumps in the category you repeat.

Cost

If you make every jump as outlined below and have to repeat no category you are looking at a total cost of about $3,400.00 if you pay as you jump and $3,200.00 if you pay upfront. Please take the time to read through these and if you have any questions please contact us.
